And it all starts here. Those magnificent tall pine trees that dot the landscape start here.

Macro-photography starts here, too. This is a closeup of pine cones growing on a tree on Wilton. You can barely make out the ridges that will house the seeds later on when the pine cones are mature.  If I were set up to do more macro-photography, I could take you even closer to the birth of a pine tree.
