May 6 part deux

The wet spring that caused the pavement to buckle outside of Washburn creates a golden glow most evening in the spring. The heavy overcast skies, the thick air create a soft feeling, even on Washburn’s Main Street.

I hadn’t planned on shooting any more 1-a-day shots on this day because I’d already shot the buckled pavement, but this surreal view of Washburn’s Main Street made me swing my truck around and get back in to position for one more shot for the day.  I’m glad I did.
