Highway 200 west of Washburn (west river) takes travelers in to a different culture, climate, economy and landscape. East  of the Missouri River is farm country. West river is more ranch country.  This old travel trailer is actually a barn for the horses who range nearby along Highway 200.  It’s a highway that for a great length follows the Missouri River and is quite scenic.  But if you turn your attention to the points of civilization, you can capture a sense of what it’s like to live here.
